Shadow Box Frame · Walnut or Teak

A frame with depth, for the things that are too thick to lie flat — a pressed bouquet, a baby's first shoes, a medal, a set of concert tickets, the cap tassel from a graduation.

The box sits about 2.5 cm deep behind the glazing, so an object can stand inside it without being squashed against the front. Solid hardwood all the way through, with an acid-free mat and a clear acrylic face.

Choosing a size

The size is the inside of the frame. The mat sits within that, so what you actually see is a little smaller. If your object is close to the limit, go one size up — a shadow box looks better with room around the thing than with the thing pressed into the corners.
