Multi-Photo Frame · Walnut or Teak
Five photographs in one piece of solid wood. Send us five pictures in the order you want them read, and they come back printed, matted and fitted behind a single mat — a whole story in one frame instead of five frames fighting for the same shelf.
Reads either way
The same frame works as a horizontal strip along a shelf or a vertical column up a wall. Tell us which orientation you want and we set the prints accordingly, so nothing ends up sideways. The largest size hangs either way but stands horizontally only.
Three sizes — all of them five openings
| Size | Inside the frame | Openings | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 10 × 30 cm | Five | Instax mini film, photo booth strips |
| Medium | 12 × 35 cm | Five | 3 in prints |
| Large | 20 × 60 cm | Five | 6 in prints |
The opening count does not change with the size — every one of them holds five photographs. Only the scale changes.
What actually arrives
- Solid black walnut or solid teak — real wood through the whole moulding, not a veneer over board.
- Clear lacquer finish, which seals the grain without colouring it.
- An acrylic front, not glass. On a frame this long that matters twice over — it survives the journey, and it stays light enough to hang on a single fixing. Real glass can be fitted on request, but we do not recommend it at this length.
- One 2 mm acid-free mat with five precision-cut openings in warm white. Acid-free means it will not yellow against your prints.
- A pine backing board on ball-spring catches, so all five photographs can be swapped out later without tools and without a workshop.
- Printing included for all five images, at no extra charge. We come back to you if any file is too small to print well.
Choose your edge
The same frame is cut with four different profiles, in either wood: rounded outside with a straight inner edge, square corners throughout, rounded outside with a bevelled inner edge, or rounded inside and out. They change the character of the piece more than the photographs do.
What five photographs to send
The frames that work best have a thread running through them. Five frames of one trip in order. Five years of the same child at the same spot. Five people who belong in one room. Five details of one day — the hands, the table, the light, the shoes, the drive home.
What does not work is five unrelated favourites. Five openings in one mat will make the eye look for a sequence whether you put one there or not.
Made to order, and how it reaches you
Prepared in 2–6 business days, then dispatched. Allow 8–12 days from placing the order to the frame arriving.
The frames are made by our production partner in Weifang, Shandong, China. Depending on the item, your order is either finished and dispatched from our Toronto location or sent direct from the workshop.
Shipping is CA$12 in Canada, CA$18 to the United States and CA$28 everywhere else — and free on any order over CA$50, wherever you are. Frames travel foam-wrapped inside a corrugated carton. Orders travelling outside Canada may attract import duties or taxes on arrival, which the destination country sets and which are not included in what you pay us.
Because each order is made with your own photographs, personalised orders cannot normally be returned unless they arrive damaged or incorrect. If something arrives damaged, send us photographs of the item and the packaging and we will replace it.
